The formula that came out of what is inside bile — New Gal

Five formulas as one: first the stomach, then the gall bladder

This formula was made in the year 2006 itself. As the number of patients increased, so the knowledge about the functions of the glands increased, and it came to be known that bile looks after several functions in the body. It was found that bile has two chief qualities — antiseptic, protecting from germs, and laxative, driving away constipation.

Then it was seen that those who had any problem whatever in the skin had pain in Gal — and many of them also had constipation. Since in the Chole formula Gal is stimulated, that treatment was given to those patients. The itching certainly reduced, but its effect lasted only a few hours; and such people's stomach was always upset. From which the conclusion that gives the formula its shape: first their stomach should be put right; only then will the gall bladder work properly.

One more piece was needed. Nowadays it has been definitely proved that the (15) Medulla treatment provokes the making of acetylcholine in the brain. Acetylcholine is a neuro-transmitter — necessary for every function of the para-sympathetic nervous system. So wherever we give (10) Medulla, giving (15) Medulla before it brings very good results. Keep that sentence: it is a general rule of construction wearing the clothes of a particular formula, and you will meet (15) Medulla in front of (10) Medulla again and again in the articles that follow.

Read that card from the top and the logic is audible. The whole digestive sequence first, because a gall bladder attached to a bad stomach will not work; then absorption, in its mild form; then the gall bladder itself, worked repeatedly through the day; then the acetylcholine rung, because everything after it is parasympathetic work; and only then the Chole formula, which is the gall bladder treatment proper. It is the longest single prescription in this part of the wiki and the least arbitrary.

Key teaching

What was read about bile, and the conclusion drawn from it

Inside bile are many things, chief among them mucin and lecithin. Of these it was found that —

Mucin is found in saliva, and also in the skin, tendon, cartilage and tissues.

Lecithin is also in the brain, nerves and tissues. From lecithin, choline will be made, and from choline, acetylcholine will be made.

All this one can read in any medical book. But the astonishing thing is now ahead. From these facts a unique conclusion was drawn — that if there is any disturbance whatever in any cartilage, tendon or tissue in the body, or if the waves of peristalsis are to be brought, then it can be put right by the New Gal treatment — because bile provokes peristalsis.

For the past two or three years the results coming from this treatment are beyond belief. It is excellent for all the following:

To remove very hard constipation. To calm those who have extreme anger.

Psoriasis, eczema, warts and moles, fungal infection, or any other skin disease.

If any problem has ever arisen from pus, or there is pus because of some disease — for example, pus or water coming from the ear.

To reduce hyperactivity in autism or in other children.

If from a blow or some illness the tissues or a ligament have been torn or destroyed, or the cartilage of the knee is to be made.

If there are wrinkles in the skin, to correct them — in old age or at a young age.

To correct trembling in the hands — Parkinson's patients too have obtained benefit.

To provoke the wave of peristalsis in the intestines, and to increase hunger.

And the uses as they are set down formally: to 'set' the stomach; to remove constipation; to correct the pains of Gal and Liv; if a ligament or cartilage has been destroyed, to correct it; very good for ringworm, psoriasis or other skin diseases, because bile does the work of an antiseptic, a germ-killer.

Three further instructions travel with that list, and each is a rule of practice rather than an indication.

The first is about children and their mothers' pregnancies. This same treatment is to be given to those children whose mother, during pregnancy, had high BP, or any skin disease, or itching. It has been proved by enquiry that among the women whose children have autism, some were found to have had skin disease during pregnancy. And: if some child comes to you for a long course of treatment, and on enquiry you learn that during pregnancy his mother's BP had gone up — whether they are children of dull intellect, or have come for some other illness — they are first to be given only this treatment for ten to fifteen days, and there will be considerable benefit. Afterwards other suitable treatments may be given.

The second is a claim about prevention. Those whose fats are not digested, if given this treatment once or twice a week, will never get gall stones.

The third is not an instruction at all but an open question, and it is left exactly as it stands. Epinephrine also contracts the muscle of the gall bladder. So in days to come, if (6) Lt. Swt is added to this treatment, perhaps it will become still more effective — this is to be tried.

A CASE FROM PRACTICE

The child who could not sit still, and the itch his mother had forgotten

This case is recorded in the therapy's own account. Names were not recorded; the profile line is reconstructed from the account itself.

What the mother said. The child was very hyper-active, restless — for him it was impossible to stay quiet even for a second. He was not getting any special benefit from any of our treatments, which had by then run for some time.

What was known, and what was not. Very little indeed had been written about autism in books or on the internet, and from what cause it comes is still not known. So the enquiry went where enquiries go when the textbook is silent: to the pregnancy. She said the pregnancy and the delivery were normal, that she had had no high BP or other illness — and nothing special was learned as to what treatment should be given.

The sentence that turned the case. In the course of talking, all at once that woman said that some months before the pregnancy she had had some itching-like trouble in the skin.

The inference. That is all. Catching hold of that one thing, it was inferred that at that time the mother must have had a disturbance of the gall bladder — the link being the one this formula was built on, that skin trouble and Gal pain travel together.

What was given, and what followed. The child was given the New Gal treatment. After some treatments the hyper-activity had become somewhat less. Some months more were given, and he began to become calmer. Later, trying it on several children, it has been found that this treatment gives considerable benefit in autism — and for a child who is very restless indeed, part III is given nine times in place of six.

What this case teaches

The history is not over when the patient says nothing happened. The decisive fact arrived in conversation, months after the questions that should have found it, and only because somebody was still listening.

A weak link honestly described is still a link worth following — and the account says so in its own words: from what cause it comes is still not known. It does not claim to have found the cause of autism. It claims that a treatment helped, and says what suggested it.

Some months, not some days. Where the material says months, tell the family months, at the first visit, in front of everybody who will be bringing the child.

And the duty that is yours rather than the formula's: a child with autism has a great deal to gain from assessment, from speech and occupational work, from schooling that suits him, and from the treatable things so often missed — fits, poor hearing, broken sleep, a painful gut. Ten or fifteen days of treatment is a reasonable thing to offer. Ten or fifteen months during which nobody else has looked at the child is not.

A CASE FROM PRACTICE

The psoriasis that cleared in a month

What happened. This treatment has been found extremely beneficial for all kinds of skin diseases. One patient who had psoriasis for years — from this treatment, in less than a month, the skin came back to normal; it was simply a wonder.

What a therapist should do with a result like that. Two things, and the first is not scepticism. Record it properly — how long the disease had run, how much skin was involved at the first visit and at each week after, in a form somebody else could check, with a photograph if the patient consents. A result like this told as a story persuades nobody and teaches nobody; the same result written down week by week is a document.

And the second: keep the sentence you say to the next patient honest. Skin diseases of this kind come and go on their own, sometimes for months at a time, and a therapist who has seen one clearance and promises the next patient another has spent something he did not earn. Some patients have done very well with this. I will show you what we do and you can judge by your own skin in a month.

What this case teaches

One dramatic result is a reason to record carefully, not a reason to promise.

The therapy's own reason for expecting skin benefit is stated and can be repeated to a patient: bile does the work of an antiseptic, and those who had any problem whatever in the skin were found to have pain at Gal.

Check the pain points first. This treatment gives most benefit to those who have pain in the organs of the right side — Gal, Liv. A patient with a skin complaint and no right-side tenderness is not the patient this formula was described for.

FROM AYURVEDA AND YOGA

Bile, and the old doctrine of the transforming fire

Of all the meeting points between this therapy and classical Indian medicine, the one about bile is the least strained. पित्त (pitta) — the principle of transformation, heat and digestion — was located above all in the region between the stomach and the small intestine, which is the neighbourhood of the duodenum and of the very doorway the Vater formula is named after.

And its divisions name jobs the modern account also names: one for digestion, one for the colouring of the blood — read by several commentators as bile and the liver — and one for the lustre and health of the skin.

So the connection this article draws, gall bladder trouble showing itself in the skin, is an old observation arrived at independently, from watching what happens to the colour and the itching of a person whose bile is not flowing. It does not license the reverse — that every skin complaint means a bad gall bladder — and the therapy itself does not claim it: it says to check the pain points first.
