The word-ending that names a family, and where the medicines use began
There is a rule of words here that turns into a rule of treatment, and it is the single most useful sentence in the article for a therapist reading a hospital letter.

The '-itis' rule
To indicate inflammation, the ending '-itis' is added to a word. For a disease whose name ends in '-itis', this is the most appropriate treatment.
Appendic-itis.Conjunctiv-itis.Myel-itis.Bronch-itis.Arthr-itis. Each is the name of a part, with the ending that means on fire. And each, on that reading, is a candidate for the treatment that stops fire.
The rule reads backwards as well, and that is its real value at the mat. A patient hands you a letter with a long word on it that you have never seen. Look at its last four letters. If they are -itis, you already know what the doctors think is happening inside that part, and you know which family of formula the finding belongs to.
Polio, and why it belongs in this article
At the time these treatments were being made, many patients of polio myelitis used to come to Guruji. And the name told him what to do with them.
Myelitis — this is itself a disease of inflammation. The word says so: myel, the cord; -itis, on fire. So such a patient was given (6) Adr × 3 treatments — and immediately said he felt somewhat better. It was proved on many polio patients that after the treatment they feel very good.
That is the whole reasoning, and it is complete as it stands. Polio is treated with (6) Adr because polio is an inflammatory disease, and (6) Adr is what this therapy has for inflammation. Nothing else about polio is being claimed at that moment — not that the paralysis is being reversed, not that the virus is being addressed. An inflamed cord is being treated as an inflamed cord.
And the caution that governs (6) Adr governs it here too, with nothing subtracted. It reduces immunity, and is therefore withheld where immunity is already low. A polio patient whose immunity is sound receives it. A patient of any diagnosis whose immunity is down does not. The indication and the prohibition sit in the same treatment and neither cancels the other — which is the ordinary shape of a clinical instruction, and the reason this wiki never gives you half of one.
Two more points belong to polio and both are given here whole, because a student who meets them later on a card should meet them first in their context. Blood Supply to Legs is given for the leg weakness — a different point, doing a different job, in the same patient. That is a treatment plan.
From polio to the ill effects of medicines
Then, in talking with those patients, something surfaced that changed the use of the treatment for the next forty years.
Many of them had first had a fever. They were given some injection or medicine for it. And after that they got the polio disease.
So the thought arose: can this treatment also put right the ill effects of medicines?
And the finding of (30) Medulla
Some years later another patient came with swelling from the ill effects of medicines. At that time Guruji was reading about the functions of the brain, and until then he had discovered only (6) Medulla.
While treating that patient — by Hari's inspiration — the thought came: what if we gave the Medulla treatment more times? He began giving it rapidly. After thirty times his hand stopped, and the patient suddenly said he felt very good indeed. And — you will not believe it — at that very moment that patient's swelling had all but ended.
That treatment was named (30) Medulla. It was used on many patients, and from many experiences it is thought that it provokes prostaglandins, or improves their work.
(30) Medulla belongs to The Medulla Family and is taught whole there — every application of it, the prostaglandin physiology it is indexed against, the labour and infertility instructions, and its own prohibition. What matters here is only this: it was born in an inflammation, and it is the second of the two points on which the formula of this article is built.
