The eight that stop a session while your foot is still on the patient
These are the ones this article must add, because they do not belong to a back and they are not part of a history. They happen while you are working. (Figure 42.6)

The last thing this article has to teach is not a list. It is a sentence said out loud, across a mat, to somebody who came to you for help.
Not everybody who comes to you can be treated by you. That is true of every therapy and every physician who ever lived, and the therapists who get into trouble are not the ones who know too few points. They are the ones who cannot say the sentence.
The boundary of the work, stated plainly
We use no medicine of any kind, and if a patient is already taking some medicine or tablet, we do not even tell them to stop it.
Treatment goes on alongside it.
When the complaint has gone entirely, the patient is told to say to their own doctor: "Now I have no pain at all — must I still take the tablets in the same quantity?" Then the doctor himself tells them what to do.
We do not advise anyone to reduce medicine without the doctor's opinion.
This is not timidity. It is the shape of the work. Prescribing and un-prescribing belong to the person who prescribed. What belongs to you is to treat well, record what changes, and send the patient back to that person with something worth reading.
