Para at its two counts, and why the number is the whole instruction
(2) Para → vasopressin — to normalise a long-standing low blood pressure, and for diabetes insipidus, in which there is a deficiency of vasopressin.
(4) Para → parathormone (PTH) — to raise the calcium in the blood; given inside the 1,25 DCC formula to maintain the amount of calcium in the blood; for those who get cramps from calcium deficiency; and for women with excessive flow during menstruation.
Two applications and four applications, at one site, are two different treatments provoking two different glands — the posterior pituitary and the parathyroid. Read the number before you read the point. And carry (4) Para's own rule with it: those who have osteoporosis are not given (4) Para separately by itself; they must be given the full 1,25 DCC formula.
Since then this treatment has been tried on many patients for low BP. And on all of them the same kind of results have been found, from which it is proved that the inference was right — that from giving (2) Para, vasopressin is made.
