Neurotherapy (LMNT) formula

ATF, old heavy form

Also called: Heavy ATF, Old Acid Treatment Formula

The old heavy form is the earlier generation of the Neurotherapy (LMNT) Acid Treatment Formula (ATF), in both its versions. It has the same points in the same shape as today's light form, but its middle steps — the ones aimed at the acid itself — were given more strongly. Guruji later lightened it, and the light form is what is given today.

Overview

What is the old heavy form of ATF?

ATF, the Acid Treatment Formula, helps a body with too much acid — acidosis — read in this therapy as pain at Mu°, the left-kidney point beside the navel. Until about a decade before this teaching was set down, Guruji gave a heavier version of it, and patients benefited from that too.

The architecture did not change; the dose did. The opening pancreas step and both endings stayed the same. The reduction fell on the three middle steps — Gal, Mu° and the Acid point — the steps aimed at the acid. One more change was not about dose at all: the chest step, once written simply as the chest, became the left chest only.

This page records the heavy form for information and history. It has not been withdrawn, but what is given nowadays is the light form.

Old and new ATF have the same shape. Only the middle, acid-aimed steps were lightened — and the chest step gained a side.

What it is for

What was it used for, and why was it lightened?

  • The same acid picture as today's ATF: dryness complaints, loose muscles, slow glands, wearing-away of bones and joints — always with tender Mu°.
  • It was lightened because, in Guruji's words, a gland that is already spoiled should first be provoked less, so that it slowly begins to work. If needed, more stimulation can follow after some days.
  • The idea came from the pulse-polio campaign: very mild doses, repeated, last longer than one strong one. So two or three light treatments are preferred to one heavy one.

Points it works through

Which points does it work through?

The same points as the light ATF, in both versions. They are listed here as a set. The exact method is taught hands-on in the Neurotherapy (LMNT) course.

Pan

The pancreas point — unchanged in every version, old and new.

Gal

The gall bladder point — one of the three steps given much more strongly in the old form.

Mu°

Mu°, the left-kidney point — also given more strongly in the old form.

Acid

The Acid point, side-lying — the third of the lightened steps.

Ch. Only

The chest, version (a) — written without a side in the old form; today it is the left chest only.

ADR

The adrenal point, face down, ending version (a) — unchanged.

Th + Ch

Thymus with chest, ending version (b) — unchanged.

Position: As the light forms: lying on the back (supine), on the side for the Acid point, and face down (prone) for the adrenal point in version (a).

The exact technique is taught hands-on in the Neurotherapy (LMNT) course. See the course →

How it works

How does it work, and what changed?

It works the same way as today's ATF: digestive juices to neutralise acid leaving the stomach, then the left-kidney point and the Acid point, then an ending — the chest and adrenal point, or thymus with chest.

What changed is a lesson in dosing. Guruji cut his own established steps exactly where the load was carried — the acid-aimed middle — and left the frame alone. It is much harder to reduce one's own doses than to raise them, and a therapist who understands why will be slow to add 'a little extra because the patient is strong'.

The light form can be given to all patients, and especially to those with severe or long-standing disease, in whom many glands are tired — the teaching names cancer, hepatitis, cirrhosis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Its family

Which formulas are related?

The heavy form is the parent of today's two ATF forms, and has a heavy companion in the digestive line.

What it is used for

Which conditions was it used in?

The same conditions as today's ATF. For long-standing disease, the light form is preferred.

Where the light form is especially meant

Safety: when it is held back

  • Today the light form is given. Do not reach for the heavier dose 'because the patient is strong' — that is the reverse of the lesson this form teaches.
  • No pain at Mu°, no ATF. Never give ATF in alkalosis. Mu°
  • Adr lowers immunity and raises alkali: not in septicaemia, HIV/AIDS, cancer or high blood pressure. Thymus Chest is not given in diabetes, with the stated exception, and Thymus never in cancer. ADR
  • In heart patients, a senior teacher is consulted before Adr is given — elsewhere the teaching considers that Adr can harm heart patients. Heart
  • In cancer, cirrhosis, rheumatoid arthritis and hepatitis, going light is right but not enough: fragile bone, easy bleeding, an unstable neck and infection precautions all apply. Cancer care: Neurotherapy (LMNT) support
  • Children get light treatment only. The Child, the Elder and the Frail: Neurotherapy (LMNT) for Delicate Bodies
  • Keep taking the medicines your doctor prescribed. Neurotherapy (LMNT) works alongside your medical care, never instead of it.

Common questions

Is the heavy form wrong?

No. Patients benefited from it too. But Guruji found that tired glands respond better to gentler stimulation first, and has given only the light form for years.

What exactly changed?

The points and their shape stayed the same. The acid-aimed middle steps were made much lighter, and the chest step was narrowed to the left chest only.

Why does the left chest matter?

In this therapy the left chest is held to reduce Mu° pain (the acid side) and the right chest to reduce Liv° pain (the alkali side). For an acid formula, the left side is the right choice.

Surprising facts

1Repeated small doses can outlast one big one

Oral polio vaccine is given in several small doses because each round builds on the last; the protection after repeated doses is far stronger than after one.

2Glands can be 'tired'

In long illness, hormone-making glands can respond less well to their signals — one reason doctors raise some treatments slowly, step by step.

3The kidneys fine-tune acid all day

Each day the kidneys excrete the acid the body makes from food and reclaim almost all filtered bicarbonate, keeping blood pH steady.

Shows the Acid Treatment formula step by step: (8) Pan, (3) Gal, (5) Mu°, 3 Acid on the side of the right thigh, (4) Chest Only, and (6) Adr on the upper back, given without breaks. It is used to support the body's acid–alkali balance when acid is raised.

Note: the Acid Treatment formula is given only when the Mu° point is tender, and (6) Adr is not given in high BP, diabetes, cancer or HIV — the therapist checks first.
