Tilt (waist bent to one side)

In LMNT, “Tilt” is the name for a waist that is bent to one side. The bent waist does not choose the treatment — the tender point at the waist does: the right side, the left side, or both.

Two skeletal views of the lower spine and pelvis from behind: on the left a straight spine with level hip bones, on the right the lower spine bending to one side with the waist tilted; the right and left waist areas are marked
The lower spine and pelvis, seen from behind. Left: a straight spine with level hips. Right: the waist bent to one side — Tilt. The right waist is where LMNT places the folic acid point, and the left waist the B₁₂ point; which one is tender decides the formula.
Quick facts
  • Low back pain affected 619 million people worldwide in 2020
  • It is the single leading cause of disability in the world
  • About 90% of low back pain has no single disease or structural cause that can be found

What is Tilt (waist bent to one side)?

A person with Tilt stands or walks with the waist leaning to one side. Doctors may see this with a painful back — a muscle spasm or a disc problem can pull the body sideways — or with scoliosis, a sideways curve of the spine that leaves the shoulders and hips uneven.

LMNT looks at Tilt differently. Guruji's teaching reads the two waists: the right waist is the folic acid point and the left waist is the B₁₂ point. Treatment goes by which of them hurts. The same bent waist can lead to three different formulas in three different people.

What are the symptoms?

  • The waist and trunk leaning to one side when standing or walking
  • Uneven hips or shoulders
  • Pain in the low back, or pain below the navel
  • In LMNT: pain at the right waist (folic acid point), the left waist (B₁₂ point), or both
  • Often, in women, pain on the right side of the waist with pain at the Gas and Rt. Ov. points

What causes it, and who is more likely to get it?

How is it found?

A doctor diagnoses a leaning back or a curved spine from your history, a physical examination and, when needed, imaging.

Physical examination

Looking at the spine from behind, the level of the shoulders and hips, and how you bend and walk.

Spine X-ray or scan

Shows the curve of the spine or a disc or bone problem.

Blood tests

A blood count, and folate and vitamin B₁₂ levels when a shortage is suspected.

The neurotherapist feels both waists. Right waist tender: folic acid point. Left waist tender: B₁₂ point. Both tender: the Black family. They also check Mu° and Liv°, the Gas and Rt. Ov. points, and ask about undigested food, reports and medicines.

How Neurotherapy (LMNT) sees Tilt (waist bent to one side)

Guruji's teaching on Tilt fits in three lines: pain at the folic acid point — the Folic acid formula; pain at the B₁₂ point — the Vitamin B₁₂ formula; pain at both — the Folic Black formula. LMNT also names Pure Folic acid and the New Genes formula for Tilt; the pain points show which one fits today.

The folic acid supply line, as LMNT reads it

  1. Green leavesfolic acid comes from green leafy vegetables — but eating them is not enough
  2. StomachGas Only: acid and pepsin, so that protein is digested
  3. IntestinesGas 'I': so that everything is digested and absorbed
  4. Ascending colonRt. Ov.: so that the bacteria there can do their work

This is not a claim that hands make a vitamin. It is a claim about the stages between a plate of greens and a body that benefits from them. Many women with right-waist pain were already taking folic acid tablets and the pain had not gone — the formula is aimed at the steps in between. None of these formulas is a whole treatment on its own: UDF and treatments to set the stomach right are given from time to time as needed.

Guruji says
This is exactly how it should be. And this itself is the secret of Neurotherapy (LMNT)'s success.

Neurotherapy (LMNT) treatment for Tilt (waist bent to one side), step by step

  1. Examine first

The therapist checks both waists, Mu° and Liv°, and the Gas and Rt. Ov. points, and asks about undigested food, back reports and every medicine.

  2. Right waist tender: Folic acid formula

Three stations — Gas Only, Gas 'I' and Rt. Ov. — for the stages that make and absorb folic acid. Pure Folic acid adds the left hip at the end.

  3. Left waist tender: Vitamin B₁₂ formula

Gal first, then Liv, then Lt. Parkhoo at the left hip. In LMNT teaching the gall bladder is emptied first, and the liver is where the body's stock of B₁₂ is kept.

  4. Both waists tender: Folic Black

A formula that contains both halves. The folic half comes before the B₁₂ half — the other way round can bring constipation.

  5. Tilt with low back pain: New Genes

LMNT teaching also names the New Genes formula — (8) Pan (6) WD (8) Ch. Only (20) Round Arrow — for Tilt and pain in the low back. Its last two steps are there to keep acid and alkali in balance.

Points and formulas used

Folic acid formula

(6) Gas Only (6) Gas 'I' (6) Rt. Ov. — supports the stages that digest protein, absorb food and let the large intestine make folic acid; chosen for pain at the right waist.

Never do this

  • Check Mu° against Liv° before every treatment. Never give ATF on the alkali side, and never give ALTF on the acid side. Mu°
  • Gas Only is not given to people with an ulcer in the stomach or duodenum. Rt. Ov. is not given in cancer, or to children being treated to increase height. Rt. Ov.
  • No deep or long pressure on the lower belly in pregnancy or possible pregnancy, with a coil, a pelvic cyst or lump, after recent surgery there, or with infection there — WD and Rt. Ov. are given on the forearms. Treatment for other problems is not given during a period. WD
  • See a doctor at once for back pain with loss of bladder or bowel control, leg weakness or numbness, fever, pain after a fall or injury, pain at night, or weight loss without reason. Bleeding after the menopause, or sudden severe one-sided pain low in the belly with faintness, also goes to a doctor first.
  • A child with a curved spine needs a doctor's check, because a curve can grow while the child grows. Children get half the adult dose and light treatment only, given by a trained therapist.
  • Cancer: if the person has cancer, (10) Pan, Thymus, Pit, Lu + Sh, Rt. Ov / Lt. Ov and (30) Medulla are never given — the therapist changes the plan.
  • Keep taking the medicines your doctor prescribed. Neurotherapy (LMNT) works alongside your medical care, never instead of it.

What research says

No clinical trial of Neurotherapy (LMNT) in Tilt has been published yet. Improvements reported by neurotherapists are clinical observations.

For you

Women

Right-sided waist pain that stays even while taking folic acid tablets is a reason to tell your therapist. Keep taking the tablets your doctor gave you.

Children and teenagers

Uneven shoulders or hips in a growing child should be checked by a doctor. Any LMNT treatment is light, at half the adult dose.

Pregnant women

Tell the therapist you are pregnant. The lower belly is not pressed, and after about the fifth month you are tilted a little onto your left side rather than lying flat.

This page explains; it does not diagnose. Neurotherapy (LMNT) works alongside your medical care — keep taking the medicines your doctor prescribed, and see a doctor for any new or severe symptom.
