Undigested food in stool (UDF)

Seeing bits of undigested food in the stool is often harmless — some plant fibre never breaks down. It matters when it comes with lasting loose motions, weight loss or other bowel changes. In LMNT, undigested food (UDF) is taken very seriously, and a whole family of UDF treatments exists for it.

Quick facts
  • Undigested bits in the stool are usually high-fibre vegetable matter that the gut does not break down
  • It is not a problem unless it comes with lasting diarrhoea, weight loss or other bowel changes
  • The small intestine does most of the digesting and absorbing of food

What is Undigested food in stool (UDF)?

Food is broken down by chewing, stomach acid, pancreatic juice and bile, and then the small intestine soaks up what the body needs. Some plant fibre — the skin of corn, seeds, some vegetable skins — never breaks down, and seeing it in the stool is normal.

When digestion or absorption is weak, more food passes through unused. Then the stool may be loose, bulky or oily, with gas and weight loss. Causes include coeliac disease, lactose intolerance, a pancreas that makes too few enzymes, and some bowel diseases — these need a doctor.

What are the symptoms?

  • Pieces of food visible in the stool
  • Loose, bulky, pale or oily stools
  • Gas, bloating or belly discomfort
  • Weight loss without trying
  • Tiredness, as the body misses nutrients

What causes it, and who is more likely to get it?

Usually harmless

  • High-fibre food such as corn, seeds and vegetable skins
  • Eating fast and not chewing well

Poor digestion or absorption

  • Coeliac disease or lactose intolerance
  • A pancreas that makes too few enzymes
  • Crohn's disease and other bowel diseases

How is it found?

Undigested food on its own needs no tests. A doctor looks further when it comes with lasting diarrhoea, weight loss, blood in the stool or other changes in bowel habit.

Stool tests

Look for fat, infection or blood; a stool elastase test checks whether the pancreas makes enough enzymes.

Blood tests

Can show missing nutrients and screen for coeliac disease.

Imaging or endoscopy

Used when the doctor needs to look at the bowel itself.

The neurotherapist examines the pain points and asks what else stands behind the patient — a long chronic disease, diabetes, constipation, infection, joint pain. That answer chooses which UDF treatment is given. The therapist also asks about diabetes, cancer, raised stomach acid and heart disease, because these change the Medulla point.

How Neurotherapy sees Undigested food in stool (UDF)

In LMNT, undigested food is called UDF, and it is treated as a root matter, not a small complaint. Before any formula at all, the food rules and a fast come first. Then the therapist chooses a UDF treatment to suit the patient, from the simplest to the long, multi-stage ones.

Which UDF treatment? The patient decides

  1. Food rules and fastalways first, before any formula
  2. Nothing else remarkablethe simplest UDF treatment
  3. A long chronic disease behindOLD UDF
  4. No special tendencythe general UDF formula
  5. Infection, inflammation, joints, abdomenthe comprehensive six-stage treatment, or the infection / inflammation formula
  6. Diabetesthe basic and eight-stage treatments for diabetics

There are also UDF formulas for pain at Gas, B₁₂ and folic acid with constipation (the stomach-setting formula); for knee pain, back pain, a child with CP and raised alkali; and for body pain, brain disease and paralysis. Sessions are counted, not applications — “× 6 treatments” means six days.

Guruji says
The coming of UDF is itself a chief cause of the coming of the great diseases.

Neurotherapy treatment for Undigested food in stool (UDF), step by step

  1. Examine first

The therapist checks Liv° and Mu°, reads your reports, and asks about diabetes, cancer, stomach acid, heart disease and any long illness.

  2. Food rules and the fast

The food rules and the fast your therapist explains come first — before any formula at all.

  3. Choose the UDF treatment

The simplest treatment where there is nothing else remarkable; OLD UDF where a long chronic disease stands behind; the general formula where there is no special tendency; the comprehensive or infection formulas where infection, inflammation, joint pain or abdomen problems come with UDF.

  4. Diabetes changes the formula

In diabetes (10) Medulla is not given, even inside a UDF treatment. There Gas Only stands alone and carries the formula by itself — nothing is put in the Medulla's place.

  5. Count sessions, not applications

“× 6 treatments” means six days of sessions. Progress is reviewed; if UDF treatment has been given again and again and is still not fully right, the plan is looked at afresh.

Never do this

  • See a doctor if undigested food comes with loose motions lasting more than a few days, weight loss, blood or black colour in the stool, pale oily stools, or severe belly pain.
  • (10) Medulla is never given in diabetes, even inside a UDF treatment — Gas Only stands alone and nothing is put in its place. It is also not given in cancer or with raised stomach acid. Heart patients get (10) Left Medulla only. (10) Medulla
  • Follow the food rules and the fast only as your therapist sets them, and tell your doctor if you have diabetes or take medicines that need regular meals.
  • Cancer: if the person has cancer, (10) Pan, Thymus, Pit, Lu + Sh, Rt. Ov / Lt. Ov and (30) Medulla are never given — the therapist changes the plan.
  • Keep taking the medicines your doctor prescribed. Neurotherapy works alongside your medical care, never instead of it.

It is given to support digestion when food passes through undigested.

Test yourself

1. Is a little corn skin in the stool a worry on its own?

2. In LMNT, what comes before any UDF formula?

3. In a diabetic patient, which point is left out of UDF treatment?

What research says

No clinical trial of Neurotherapy for undigested food in the stool has been published yet. Improvements reported by neurotherapists are clinical observations.

For you

Everyone

Chew well, eat slowly and cook vegetables soft — food that is chewed into small pieces is easier to digest.

People with diabetes

Tell your therapist first: your UDF treatment is built without (10) Medulla. Keep your sugar checks and medicines as your doctor set them.

This page explains; it does not diagnose. Neurotherapy works alongside your medical care — keep taking the medicines your doctor prescribed, and see a doctor for any new or severe symptom.
