From Fire and Swelling
Everything in this article was made around 1980, and it came, as the therapy says of it, by Hari's grace. That phrase does a particular job. It marks the treatments whose reasoning can be told step by step — a question, a piece of anatomy half-remembered, a hand laid somewhere new, a patient who said it felt good — and whose result still exceeds what the reasoning would have predicted. Three of the four families in this article are described that way by the man who found them.
The notation is closed. Every bracket, glyph, side prefix, asterisk, × sign and treatments suffix used here was taught once and completely in Table 13 of How a Formula Is Built, "How a Formula Is Built". It is not explained again. Every written rest — the ninety seconds between the repeats of (6) Adr, the one minute between rounds, the five minutes between two whole formulas — is in Table 8 of that same article, with the reason given for each. If a line will not read, go back to those two tables.
