Treatments for uncommon problems: why each one names its own position
One group of Neurotherapy (LMNT) treatments is not arranged by body region but gathers treatments for less common problems. Because no region sets the scene, each treatment states its own patient position and where the therapist stands.
Overview
One group of Neurotherapy (LMNT) treatments is not arranged by body region. It gathers treatments for less common problems: shoulder blade pain, two kinds of dizziness, a swollen scrotum, a very bad stomach, paralysis and more. In earlier groups the region set the patient's position and where the therapist stood. Here nothing does, so each treatment states them itself.
Some are given lying on the back, some face down, some seated, and Rocket Point may be given either seated or lying. The therapist may sit at the head, as in Down arrow, or at the waist, as in Up arrow. For Paralysis Clockwise, Shukla, Feather Touch and Abdomen Setting the therapist works beside the patient with the hands only. For Upper Shoulder Blade Pain, Hydrocele Point, Superfast, Katka and Motor Neuron Point the feet are used, with the weight carried on two chairs.
The chairs are the load control, not furniture. Wherever a foot is used, the therapist's weight hangs from the arms, and only as much comes down as the therapist lets down. In two treatments of this group, that is the whole of their safety.
Anything given face down uses the standard one and a half pillows under the chest, head straight, unless that treatment says otherwise. The habit that follows is simple: read the position before anything else, every time. The exact methods are taught hands-on in the course.
Key points
- This group is arranged by problem, not by body region.
- Each treatment states its own position and where the therapist stands.
- Never give a treatment in the position used for the one before it.
- The two chairs control how much of the therapist's weight reaches the patient.
