Jeevan Dhara: the abdominal treatment its patients named
Jeevan Dhara, 'the stream of life', works all the organs around the navel in their normal order. Its patients, especially older ones, said it gave them new life, and the newer, lighter version is reported to work better than the heavy one.
Overview
Jeevan Dhara began as the third class of the abdominal-pain group, for pain without loose motions. The pain went out at once. Then something no one had looked for happened: older people, and people with no particular complaint, felt an immediate freshness and briskness. Many women said they had received a new life. So the treatment gained the name everyone now uses.
Jīvan means life, and dhārā means a stream, an unbroken flow. The name was not chosen by a committee; it came from what the patients said afterwards. All the organs around the navel are provoked in their normal order, which supports the gut's natural wave instead of slowing it, so it may be given to people of any age.
There are two versions, and the therapy is candid about which it prefers. The older one is heavy and long, worked through several positions. The present one is much lighter, built from the mild forms of Ajay Normal, the Kidney Clear formula and the Genes formula, and it is reported to be more effective. It is also given at any age to ease fatigue or weakness in the body.
The lesson cuts against every new therapist's instinct: the body answers a signal, not a load. In an old or tired body, more pressure can take something away, and an exhausted patient is not a well-supplied one. The exact method is taught hands-on in the Neurotherapy (LMNT) course.

- Jeevan Dhara is not for a patient with loose motions; it supports the gut's movement rather than slowing it. Loose motions with abdominal pain
- For older and frail people the light version is the one to use; a treatment the patient needs help to get up from has taken more than it gave. Frail and elderly patients (gentle care)
- Blood or mucus in the stool with fever, black tarry stool, sudden or severe belly pain, a hard swollen belly, vomiting that will not stop, or a drowsy patient: see a doctor the same day. These are not treatment questions.
